Actor Saqib Saleem, who will be seen playing a cricketer in the upcoming film “Dishoom,” says he loves the sport and always wanted to wield the willow.
“See ‘Dishoom’ will release first, so my level of excitement of ‘Dishoom’ is greater at this time. In the film I play a cricketer. Cricket was always my first love in life .. . I always wanted to be a cricketer, “Saqib told IANS by phone from Mumbai.
Directed by Rohit Dhawan, “Dishoom” is also Varun Dhawan starring John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez.
The film, which is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, is scheduled to launch on July 29.
The 28-year-old actor will also be seen sharing screen space with her sister and actress Huma Qureshi in the new Hindi version of the film “Oculus” Hollywood titled “Dobaara”.
The star of “Mere Dad Ki Maruti” says the film will be “very special” for him.
“When the time comes ‘Dobaara’ to release, will be very excited because of several reasons. It is a film that Huma and I are doing together well, this film will be very special for me,” he said.
