Filmmaker Pritish Chakraborty, currently directing the science fiction film “Mangal Ho” says his concept goes a step ahead of initiatives as done in India.
Chakraborty told IANS: “The initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Make In India certainly has aroused the patriotic side of our filmmakers, who are making patriotic films as ‘air bridge’.
“These initiatives popularize India in international platforms, but we intend to go beyond making in India and popularize India not only globally but on a platform output-world, ie Mars. ”
He added: “Our film is the first to talk about sending people to Mars I hope that our innovative concept brings more attention to India and its achievements in space.”.
“Mangal Ho” is the story of an attempt to send a pair of Mars and to create a civilization there, and has been portrayed in a cheerful and humorous way. Veteran actor Annu Kapoor is the scientist who heads this ambitious mission. The actor Sanjay Mishra plays a Bengali man in the film business.
